Kimley-Horn Recent Graduate Internship

Kimley-Horn Seeks Recent Civil Engineering and Landscape Architecture

Graduates for Recent Graduate Internship Program

Kimley-Horn, a firm ranked in the top 20 pure design firms by Engineering News Record, seeks recent civil engineering and landscape architecture graduates for recent graduate internships.  These six month positions provide the opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable work experience with the strong possibility of turning into entry-level career positions.

Kimley-Horn has long been committed to hiring new college graduates and providing them with tremendous career opportunities.  Only a few years back, we routinely hired over 200 college graduates each year.  With challenges in the economy, these numbers have been scaled back.  As we see positive signs of improvement in our markets and anticipate greater workload, we want to stimulate our college recruiting.  We see this Recent Graduate Internship program as a way to provide valuable experience for talented 2009 and 2010 graduates while also developing a pool of potential employees for anticipated entry-level positions.  We anticipate hiring 20 to 30 interns in our offices throughout the nation.

Recent Graduate Internships will begin later this summer and last for six months.  The interns will work full-time, earn $20 per hour, and receive benefits.  They will also receive a stipend to assist with the costs of getting to and establishing a residence in their office location.  Strong performing interns will be the first individuals considered for full-time roles that become available during or after their internships.

Those interested in being considered for recent graduate internships should visit our website at www.kimley-horn.com and go to the “College and Grad Student” section under the “Careers” tab.  There you will have the opportunity to apply to the Recent Graduate Intern Program and select your preferred geographic locations.  If we believe you are a good match for the program, one of our college recruiters will contact you to discuss the opportunity!
