Weiss has maintained a diverse professional practice assisting governments and civic organizations with physical transformations of cities and neighborhoods.  He believes that civic aesthetics can have a profound effect on social and economic health – if and only if – the aesthetic changes originate in the community’s special attributes, knowledge of successful methods and an appreciation of beautiful, energetic places.
