PBS’s The News Hour discusses great spaces

In the midst of debates over collapsed housing markets, the new face of racism, and stemcell research,  a surprising story about public space appeared.  Reporter Jeffery Brown opens up a pure and simple conversation about spaces and what makes them great.   He explores how the collection of unique spaces at the Indianapolis Museum of Art’s new Art & Nature Park combine to form an important community asset.  What really makes the story interesting is that there isn’t a single landscape architect, architect, or planner telling us why its good.  Instead, its kids.

Worth a look.

Then go to the North Carolina Museum of Art and check out our equally awesome art park.
