Subject: Security for Kamphoefner

Dear Chris,

You probably heard that a laptop was stolen from an architecture studio on
the 4th floor of KAM over the weekend.  The students are concerned about the
security of the door at the south stairwell.  Either it is left propped
open, or the student whose desk is closest to the door is constantly
interrupted to let people in.

Would it be possible to install a card swipe lock on this door?  Possibly
the same thing would be needed on the 3rd level, as it doesn’t help security
on the 4th if the 3rd level door is unlocked or propped open.

Many thanks,

Robin
