Student Scholarship : IMCL Conference of Planning Healthy & Child-Friendly Communities

48th IMCL Conference on Planning Healthy & Child-Friendly Communities
October 17-21, 2010
Charleston, SC

A limited number of Student Scholarships and Volunteer Positions are
available. Both positions waive the student registration fee.

This Conference will be a landmark event, with an unprecedented
gathering of world renowned experts in planning, public health, social
sciences, education and allied fields. Please see the website for more
details – www.LivableCities.org

Volunteers can attend all the sessions they choose. Most
responsibilities are in helping exhibitors set up their exhibits, and
helping at registration on Sunday, October 17; breaking down exhibits on
the Wednesday and Thursday morning; being available (if you have
PowerPoint skills) if presenters need technical help (in the sessions of
your choice); and helping to man the publications table. Volunteer
positions offer great access to speakers and exhibitors.

Scholarships waive the registration fee. They do not offer funds towards
expenses.

Interested students should send their resume, a short statement (250
words) why the conference is of interest to them, and to which program
they are applying, before October 7 to
suzanne.lennard@livablecities.org.
