Job Opening: City of Greensboro Planner/Project Manager Position

The Planner/Project Manager’s primary responsibility is to serve as the team leader/project manager for neighborhood revitalization and other development projects. This individual will design and implement strategies for providing technical assistance and capacity building for developers as required and provide independent oversight of development projects. The employee in this position will work closely with neighborhood groups, development and lending communities, diverse stakeholder populations, and other city departments. Duties will include identification and management of resources, procurement of professional services and management of professional service contracts. This employee will make presentations to various community groups, boards, commissions, and others regarding development and redevelopment area projects. This individual will also assist with the development of neighborhood & corridor plans and perform other planning and redevelopment related activities as assigned.
