SCA Alternative Spring Break – Big Cypress National Preserve, Florida

Service will be with the Florida Trails Association maintaining trails and building small trail structures such as puncheons and turnpikes. This work will help keep Preserve visitors on trails, decreasing erosion and damage to surrounding habitat in the preserve while enabling visitor’s opportunities to enjoy the preserve.

Big Cypress National Preserve, Florida. Big Cypress is the nation’s first national preserve and is located 45 minutes west of Miami, Florida.  Benefits include: up to $300 for airfare to and from the site after successful completion. SCA and the Park will provide all food, as well as transportation to/from the airport and at the site.
