CONGRATULATIONS! NCSU/UNC Team wins honorable mention in Urban Design Competition

A team of NCSU and UNC students have been awarded an Honorable Mention in the 2011 Gerald D Hines Student Urban Design Competition.  Their project entitled “A New Rainier: empowering people to create and name their place” was commended for its innovative solution to a difficult transit problem in Seattle, WA.  This nod marks the second year in a row that a NCSU/UNC team has been recognized in the prestigious competition. The team included:
