I live very near NCSU in University Park and wanted to offer my corner lot as a paletter for a design project. My goal is to have a plan that I can execute over time but I don’t currently have the funds to hire someone. Would this type of situation be attractive to a student ?
Debra,
Sorry for the delayed reply. I can certainly pass your information around the studios to see if there is any interest in pursuing a project. First it may be helpful to fill in the details about what you intend. Are you interested in a residential design with ornamentals? Edibles? How large is the site?
It may be easier to contact me thought my ncsu email address (I check it more often). tfowlke@ncsu.edu
Thanks for getting in touch.

Hello,
I live in Bahama, NC and am looking for a student to hire to do a landscape plot for me. I have a very unusual lot. It is one acre and is basically natural with no landscaping at all execpt some hardscape and drainage that I put in over the last 14 years to get it ready to landscape. I am now so burnt out! I have no creativity left and need help. I hired someone that I got through a nursery and paid money to but they never finished a plan so I was very put off. I can affort some but not alot to hire someone. I want to be able to execute a plan over time so I dont’ screw it up. So would there be any students interested in make some extra money and take on what I might I say is a quite unique and challenging design? Based on note above, I want all of the above. Thank you.
Veronica,
When do you need a finished design? I think I can speak for most of the students in saying that this time of the semester is especially trying in terms of our workload. After Mother’s day many of us will be graduating and can perhaps then tackle your project
What is a good contact email for you?
Thanks! I just emailed you with details.
Thank you for your reply. I am very flexible and later in spring or even summer would be fine.
Sorry forgot to put in my email. vahanzel@mindspring.com or vahanzel@rti.org
Thank you so much!!
Still looking for help. Any time is good for me. debra.g.norris@gmail.com
I am also looking for a student to help me with landscape design. I just moved into a house that had a grass yard, on a small corner lot near Perry Creek. I had a vinyl fence installed and would like some shrubs planted on the outside and flowers on the inside. This is heavy work for a woman and I would pay a student that could do it for me. The lot is fairly flat. Please let me know if any student would be willing to help me with his.
